We have had our Solera composite sink for about 3 years. It’s a beautiful sink and compliments our counters beautifully but it’s just not holding up. My parents had a composite granite sink by another brand which I used for a decade without any chipping issues. I had a porcelain sink before this which I never chipped. This sink, however keeps chipping. I’m gentle with it, I baby it. I tried to reach out to solera to repair the chips (they don’t do that or offer a product to do that) or replace the sink about a year after it had been installed. They said that the damage falls under the “abuse/neglect” provision in their warranty and they would not do anything to remedy the issue without an additional charge. So, basically, the “warranty” isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on. I’d buy a different brand if I had it to do again.
