Established in 1988, MANTEC is one of Pennsylvania's seven private nonprofit Industrial Resource Centers, covering nine counties: Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Fulton, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry, and York. The organization's goal is to engage and empower manufacturers by providing services that boost their worldwide competitiveness while also improving sustainability, diversity, and quality of life. MANTEC provides a broad range of services, such as process improvement, labor engagement, manufacturing technology integration, and sales and marketing strategies. They also offer professional development through a variety of training courses, including Lean Six Sigma, OSHA 30 Training, and Project Management Fundamentals. MANTEC also organizes events such as the SMART Manufacturing Conference and Manufacturing Matters seminars to encourage networking and knowledge sharing among industry professionals.
