An Endodontist is a dentist who has specialized in saving your natural teeth. Endodontists have two more years of specialized training that makes them experts in diagnosing the source of your tooth pain and taking care of issues relating to the inner structures of your tooth, the dental pulp. Specializing in root canal procedures and saving your natural tooth through the healing and repairing of a diseased tooth from the inside out, the American Association of Endodontics (AAE) calls endodontists the "superheroes of saving teeth."
