08/30/2024 I was in training to be a driver for this company. I was signed on by John Baddeur in the midst of his company moving establishments and was told after the move was over i'd start my training as a driver. about a month goes by and the move is over and i start riding along with one of their drivers for training ( i didnt know that person wasnt even the trainer just some random employee). that lasts about a week and then late one saturday night (im off saturday and sunday) im told that im to be at the warehouse at 5am to meet with the actual trainer (who previously quit because of issues she had with the owner John but later returned) which i had no issue with but more than a 24 hour notice wouldve been nice. fast forward another week and a half, training is going great, i missed a day because i was stuck in the hospital which they were fine with, i believe it was wednesday 08/28/2024 that i was told i was being completely pulled from my trainer and i was to be with someone else i neveer met before. this didnt come from my manager or john, this came from my trainer as i was EN ROUTE to work that morning. come to find out i wasnt supposed to be there until after. thursday comes and i go out and try to start my car and it wont start, i have to call in and tell them i wont make it. friday comes, i was expecting some sort of direction from John or my trainer before friday morning what i was supposed to be doing or whom i was supposed to be training with and i got no information relayed to me so i showed up at the warehouse at 5 like i normally would. i get there and nobodys there, i cant clock in because the screen is off. i had no direction, as i was still in training, and nobody is awake to answer because john comes in at 9, so i left. a few hours later i was terminated. i think it was wrongful termination based upon no direction was given to me.
