Fireplace inserts can turn your old, drafty, hard-to-operate fireplace into a convenient, efficient, easy to operate focal point of your home. If you have an old masonry fireplace, we’ll show you improvements to create an updated, attractive feature to your home. Many people find that the convenience of a gas insert, controlled with a hand held remote control, can make what was an unsightly part of their living space into a new, bright, functional feature that they can enjoy with a flip of a switch. We can also install wood inserts that will make the fireplace heat just like a wood stove. Our wood inserts are 80% efficient and will easily heat the room and often times a good portion of the house as well. If you prefer less hands-on maintenance than a wood fireplace but still want to burn something other than gas, pellet inserts are a great economical alternative. Pellet inserts are completely automatic, work off a thermostat, turn on and off just like a furnace would. Heat generated from pellets can cost about 40 – 50% of the cost of heat from LP, oil, or electric heat. We have some very attractive pellet inserts that can become a beautiful feature of your home. A freestanding stove can also be a great way to heat a portion of or your entire house. Freestanding stoves that burn gas, wood or pellets are available through us from top manufacturers in the industry. We provide a turnkey installation, including a variety of hearth pads and all venting needed.
