Had a problem when we were leaving town back to Ohio. My truck was not starting after filling up. We thought it may be the fuel pump. It was 130 on Saturday afternoon. Google closest place and he was 2 miles away. We called and he assured us he would fix it and have us back on the road that evening. We got the truck to the shop and spoke with the owner. He again told us he would have it done if he had to stay until 730 or 8. It would take him an hour or so to get to it then he would run a diag scan on the truck and let us know what he found out. The scan would cost 150.00. He did in fact call us about 90 minutes later and we came back to the shop. He tried telling me a whole list of things that was wrong with the truck and showed me a list of codes he found. I assured him that I knew for a fact that most of the things he had listed were not the problem. At this point when he realized I wasn't going to pay him close to 2000.00 for repairs that didn't need to be done he scribbled out all of the information he just showed me and refused to give me the Information. I again said I would just like him to replace the fuel pump and he refused. In my opinion he took advantage of me knowing me were trying to leave town. He got me for 150.00 which I of course paid, yet even though I didn't believe the codes and information he was telling me, I paid for it and should have received it. As I write this we got a tow to a different facility and will hopefully be by 1030 tonight.
