Bastie & Associates was founded by Helen Bastie and has been in business since 1989. Ms. Bastie believed in lending a helping hand to all those in need. She started this company to help people with their insurance needs. She sold to Jerry Blackburn, whom she considered a fourth son, and he became the managing partner. With her experience combined with Jerry’s 27 years in the industry, the agency started offering new lines and products. She continued on with the agency until her passing in 2014. Since her passing we have continued her legacy of helping people with their insurance. Her clients loved her and still comment on how much she is missed. Our clients love us for continuing the great work she was known for.
