Hall’s Taffy was first established in 1970 when Burton, Leon and Sally Hall purchased Sally’s uncle’s business and began to make and sell taffy on the county fair circuit. Later that year, they bought Doc’s Candies on Hoffman Street in Elmira, New York, adding delicious homemade fudge to their fair venue.
