The firm of WILLIAM J. DAVIS CONSULTING ENGINEERS was organized in 1963 with William J. Davis, Principal. The firm provides private practice engineering in the fields of civil, foundation, structural, historic preservation, existing building studies, adaptive reuse of existing structures, and expert witness testimony. The firm of William J. Davis Consulting Engineers has worked on many restoration projects since 1975. Prior to that, unfortunately, the solution for restoration was generally done with a bulldozer. I feel fortunate in having had a part in the saving of many deserving projects in Virginia and North Carolina.
