Friendliness does not make up for the price gouging. We had to pay up front $9,500 when she arrived before proceeding any further for the removal of seven trees and trimming of another. After walk around, it was decided on removing six trees and one branch off the other. No refund was given plus denying the difference even with four of us standing there when the transaction was paid and the removal and trimming amount was changed. It was decided not to remove tree stumps due to possible wires or pipes . There was approximately 10 total hours involved with traveling back & forth plus haul away. No heavy equipment was involved and the owner thinks I've no right to question receiving at least $1,000 back for doing less. She made out her invoice for six trees and a trim job, however that is not what we had paid up front for. One tree less is a lot and considerable less trimming of another was a lot. Prior she had quoted my son $4,700 for the additional tree removal when she took one down in February.
