My Journey to becoming a Naturopath began in high school. I was suffering from a variety of ailments acne, hirsutism, obesity, depression and female hormone issues. I had visited several general M.D.'s and OB/GYN's and did not find relief. Then my mother found this alternative medicine doctor who did, acupuncture, herbs and psychiatry. He ran some simple lab tests and discovered that my thyroid was very low. A few treatments later and I was feeling remarkably better. He truly changed my life...so much so that I wanted to do what he did. I wanted to be THAT kind of doctor and he told me to explore Naturopathic Medicine. I am so glad that I did.
