I hired Thunderbird Glass on December 4, 2024 to repair a broken window and screen. The technician who prepared the estimate said that it would take a week to get the replacement glass. He asked for a $200 deposit, which I provided. He never returned to complete the work. He also took my torn screen, so I now need to buy a new frame. Thunderbird Glass has a Better Business Bureau Rating of F. The reasons for the rating are failure to respond to two complaints filed against the business, and failure to be transparent about ownership, location, or products/services offered. Thunderbird Glass does not appear to have a current California contractor's license. In California, it is illegal for an unlicensed contractor to hire employees, do jobs in excess of $1,000, or do jobs that require a building permit.
