Karen McGuire, DNP, FNP-, earned her doctorate with honors in family nurse practitioner studies at Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, Oklahoma, in 2023. Karen previously cared for patients as a registered nurse, having completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at New Mexico State University in 2018. She joined Kelsey-Seybold's Family Medicine department in October 2025. As a primary care provider, she sees patients of all ages, providing well care, treatment for acute illness and injuries such as seasonal viruses and lacerations, and management of chronic conditions. She also has particular expertise in allergies as well as respiratory and immune system conditions such as asthma and COPD.
