Stay as far away from Jason Marsala as possible! We hired him to build a garage in August 2021 and gave him a large deposit upfront. After many long delays (and excuses) he finally started the project in November 2021. He completed the foundation and stopped working. Then, in May 2022 he told us "he had no money" and asked us to purchase the materials needed for framing. We refused to do this as we had already paid him far in excess of the value of the completed work. We have not heard from him since May. Based on the comments here, this seems to be the way he always runs his "business".

I contracted with Marsala Contracting from Eaton, NY for home improvements. Initially the Owner was extremely responsive. I signed a contract, paid deposits, scheduled & rescheduled work for 10 months. Marsala was terminated for default & owes me money. Don't get involved with this company.
