Buyer Beware: We had high hopes when we chose to build a home with DB Homes but, we had issue after issue during the building process. To include constant arguing by the builder to install and do things we had agreed upon. He ordered less shutters than agreed upon and we had to threaten legal action to get him to install the shutters. The basement was not graded properly and the basement flooded twice during construction and once after. We had to pay a third party to fix the grading and drainage. The floor began to split apart in the front of the house when we first moved in. After hiring a structural engineer it was determined that there were not enough support beams and additional ones had to be installed. Fast forward to five years later, we discovered an attic window is leaking and when Anderson Windows sub contractors came out to inspect the issue, they said it was leaking due to improper installation. We contacted Drew Brester and he is refusing to honor his 10 year warranty. This is just a few of the many issues we have had.
