I am referring to the seamstress. Last summer my daughter was getting married and I bought a pantsuit at Macy's which needed hemming . This was on a Wednesday. A girl in front of me had 3 pairs of jeans and the woman said they would be ready by Friday of the same week. I came with a pantsuit with chiffon pants, very thin material and only 26' each. She told me it would be ready on Tuesday of next week. I did ask for Monday as the rehearsal was on Wednesday and she agreed. I came on the Monday and waited for her to arrive. She stated that her machine had broken down and it was now OK. I pleaded to have her do the pants right away as I was very nervous She finally agreed and charged me $60 dollars for five minutes of work. That is outrageous.
