Over the passed two years, we have received in excess of $53,000 in contributions from safari participants and other persons we contacted. All funds have gone for two purposes: to improve the schools facilities and fund scholarships for graduates to attend secondary school & college. So far, the following facilities have been installed: - A 14 stall latrine for girls - Piped fresh water for drinking - Kitchen / Dining Hall being built - Solar panels to be installed Plus, nine students are enrolled in secondary (5), advanced (3) and college (1) programs. The first college student we sponsored was the first female graduate from Kibaoni to attend college. In each of these cases one or more of our donors have agreed to specifically provide the funds.
