Psychotherapy helps clients improve their well-being, lessen their distress, and increase their ability to solve problems and make decisions. I provide general adult psychotherapy using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address multiple disorders including depression, anxiety, bipolar, grief, and end of life issues. I received my undergraduate degree at Texas Tech University and earned my master's degree and Ph.D. at Ball State University in Indiana. With over 12 years experience practicing in multiple medical facilities and university settings, including over 7 years as an assistant professor at UT Southwestern Medical Center providing care in Parkland, Zale-Lipshy and St. Paul Hospitals, I have provided psychotherapy with a focus in Health Psychology and Behavioral Medicine. Below is a list of some of my clinical presentations, scientific research, and publications.
