Coalition For Pet Protection Coalition for Pet Protection (CPP) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer animal welfare organization located in Lincoln, Nebraska. It was founded in 1992 and is composed of individuals and animal groups working together. CPP seeks to change public attitudes, behaviors, and to gain a recognition by the public that any level of overpopulation and animal abuse is unacceptable. Coalition for Pet Protection’s mission is to reduce pet overpopulation and animal abuse in Nebraska by supporting the promotion of: ● Basic humane care and placement of animals ● Responsible pet ownership ● Prevention of animal cruelty and neglect ● Public education
