Texas home style tradition of fresh hamburger being ground daily and the chicken fried steak is also cut fresh daily. The famous waffle fried potatoes are still cut by hand and the potato cutters are still made by Kerry. We pride yourself in supporting the community in local and school athletics from around the surrounding areas. Tarleton State University is also a big part of who we also happily support. Jake and Dorothy's is a traditional stop for teams and followers from all over North Texas before and after the games. Kerry has operated the business for over 30 years and everyone at the restaurant carries on the tradition of Texas kindness and Stephenville hospitality.
