Aqua Resolutions appears to have an agreement with Home Depot whereby they set up "free water testing" either by mail in or offering various gift cards you can "win" at the exit areas of several Home Depot locations near Rockford IL and the Chicago land area. Beware! You will never get any gift cards. They called me and claimed I won a $25 card and wanted to extend the free water testing. They will ask about your current system such as well or city water, do you have a softener, etc. Then they try and sell a RO system for nearly $4,000 if they are able to get to your home. If you aren't interested in a system, forget about them giving you a free water test. I worked in the aseptic beverage industry for over a decade and you can get their version for under $1000 easy and if your handy install one yourself for a few hundred dollars. The gift card will never arrive. There are a few similar stories on yelp. As for the company information here it is. Note no one answers the phone and they don't even have a website. Going to contact Home Depot about doing business with this less than reputable company. Please note there is also another company using this address, which is World water works. Zillow searches revealed it is a single family home. A few yelp reviews state that the company name at the address and/or phone number has changed I've time. Wonder why? Not hard to figure out they don't meet high standards of service or follow through. Forget about a gift card unless you want an overpriced water filter that likely isn't needed. The two companies listed at the address also got $172,000 in PPP loans forgiven. Hope the government looks into them for this as well.
