Gus sent “his best guy” to measure for counter tops. The awesome granite my wife picked was cut TOO NARROW. Had gaps around the entire wall inner edges. Gus came after initial installation and REMOVED and RESET it all and in the end it ended up being a -band aid-patched up- job but we accepted it. He filled the gaps with grout and no one will notice. I hope the grout holds up without cracking because there is nothing under it but gaps. Time will tell. AND LASTLY but MOST IMPORTANTLY, Gus promised he would retrieve the previous granite he removed out of the dumpster because my insurance company needed it because it was defective. I had told him the next day soon as my insurance company told me. I reminded Gus DAILY for a WEEK to please not forget as I knew his guys would be piling other debris on top. After a week he said “SORRY”, he wasn’t going to get it now because it was too deep. I told him “but you said you would get it!!!” (I still have the texts which include him giving his word that he would get it for me). It didn’t matter to him what he told me, he had no intention to honor his own promise. When a mans word no good, he has nothing left of value to offer. I highly recommend going elsewhere for your granite. Surely you need to think at least three times before doing business with Gus. Yes, his facility is impressive, BUT HIS skill for a unique job like mine proved to be VERY LIMITED and HIS WORD IS SURELY NO GOOD.
