I hired Shelly Heating to install oil fired boiler based on a recommendation from a colleague from work. Asked for license and insurance and all was in order. Price was very competitive, work was done as expected, permit filed and inspected by approprated dept. Shawn and Julia were very professional and very nice. Office staff was efficient and very infomative about rebates. I used them at my mothers house and recommend them to others. they offer emergency service at very reasonable rates

I hired Shelly heating to convert my system from forced hot water to forced hot air, run duct work, install a new furnace and add central air conditioning. I was told the work would take one week, it took exactly one month to complete. They left significant damage in my home, including holes in my wall and ceilings and copper piping left where old baseboards were pulled up, sticking up several inches from the floor. They had me pay them in full prior to the work being completed. I found out after the work was done, that they never pulled the necessary mechanical, gas or electrical permits, therefore the city would never come to inspect. The gas and electrical work was completed by unlicensed contractors. The system was installed improperly, and is overworking without enough return, and will burn itself out if not repaired very soon. Duct work needs to be redone, and gas exhaust redone (not up to code). The AC unit was hardwired into my electrical box, but they used a regular $11 breaker instead of the code required $130 GFI protected breaker. Very unsafe. I have pending complaints with the BBB, AGO and DPL. Do not hire these people!
