We Called Northern Virginia Plumbing because they were recommended by our Insurance company USAA. We woke up to a Sunday morning with Water on the floor near the Water Heater. It has been in the house for at least 16 years so I was not surprised, we needed a new one, just did not want it to be an emergency.
When the Plumber arrived I showed him to the basement and he started looking the job over.
He came upstairs about 5 minutes later and said "you are good to go". Turns out it was a valve part that was leaking, and he had already repaired it.
They are coming back on Wednesday to install a new Water Heater. We have never had a bad referral from USAA, and are grateful with how we were treated.

It has been in the house for at least 16 years so I was not surprised, we needed a new one, just did not want it to be an emergency.

The gentleman who answered the phone for Nova Plumbing was so thoughtful.He tried to talk me through a few steps, I was lost and he knew it. My husband was on the way home from work and they rushed a plumber out to the house to help us out. They had us up and running in no time.and we are so grateful for extra service we received. Fantastic all the way around. We have a well and at 8AM yesterday something went very wrong with the cold water holding tank and the other equipment in the laundry room and before I could shut it off there was 3 inches of water on the floor.
Called the local plumber we have always used and they could not come until Monday which did not make me happy as we had no water obviously and they gave the number for N VA Plumbing and recommended them. I called explained what happened and within 45 minutes they were here. I mopped and mopped and moved everything out of their way before they got here and removed wet rugs. I was so happy that someone would come that quickly to rescue me.
Reid is a true plumbing pro and a really nice guy and so was the plumber that came with him (James?). Tore out all the old stuff and got us a new tank and beautiful new simple hookup with all the equip we need and what happened,etc. When my hubby got home he was very pleased also. I now have a new plumber/friend and will never use anyone else. The estimate they gave me before they even started was exactly what the charges were and I got a senior discount as well. Fair pricing for sure.

Fantastic all the way around. We have a well and at 8AM yesterday something went very wrong with the cold water holding tank and the other equipment in the laundry room and before I could shut it off there was 3 inches of water on the floor.
Called the local plumber we have always used and they could not come until Monday which did not make me happy as we had no water obviously and they gave the number for N VA Plumbing and recommended them. The next day my wife called a plumbing company and they got their drain machine stuck and wanted a lot of money to get it out. I called a few companies and right off the bat, the gentleman on the phone said, it's not a big problem and it happens from time to time. He talked to us and explained why the carpet in the back office keep getting wet and how he wanted to repair it.It had to do with a drain for the warehouse. We bought our dream house a few weeks ago, We were so excited we didn't notice for a couple days that we kept running out of hot water.We just though new house someone must have just used some hot water.After we realized that we could only get 3 or 4 minutes in the shower, we called the home warranty company.I have never felt with a home warranty company before and never will again.They sent a plumber out and they repaired the heater.that night the water heater did the same thing, so I called them the next day.They came back out and they said they changed everything, so I went up stairs ran the shower and again 3 to 4 minutes.the plumber went back down stairs and about 30 minutes later he explained they were going to replace the water heater, I had to pay another $85.00 so they can get authorization from the home warranty company.they came back the next day and installed a new water heater and they wanted another $250.00 for a valve that was not working, I told them not to do the valve , If they would have mentioned it the day before why was it not covered under the warranty.they finished up and that was that, until later that night when the next day or my daughter yelled down that we were out of hot water again. So the next morning I called the water heater company, they referred us to Norther Virginia plumbing they found out what was wrong in 5 minute had it fixed in 2 hours. It was a water pipe leak under ground. Thank you very much.
