DE Group’s strengths in traffic engineering and transportation engineering. The DE Group brings over 20 years of experience in the design of surface transportation and traffic engineering projects, construction management of transportation projects and design project management. The DE Group is responsible for developing, designing and managing PS&E for various traffic signal, flashing beacon, illumination, signing, striping and minor Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) projects with TxDOT in the Laredo District and the San Antonio District. The overall experience includes design and project management for major signal designs for rural, urban and arterial projects including isolated traffic signals, diamond signalized intersections and signalized corridors; traffic engineering traffic studies and analyses including signal warrants, speed zone studies and signal timings; signing and pavement markings; signalization and illumination; utility facilities and coordination; contract negotiations; construction cost estimates; preparation of final PS&E; QA/QC, construction management including performing pre-construction meeting, managing construction inspection, reviewing and approving construction submittals, record keeping, diaries, monthly estimates, change orders and final project acceptance for Federal, State, City, and County traffic construction projects funded or overseen by TxDOT.
