I was strictly against hiding spare keys under rugs or in flower pots, since I believed that it would put my home security in risk. However, when I lost my keys and was locked out of my own home, that’s when I regretted my decision. It was now 9 pm and any chances of hiring a technician from the local hardware store in Grayson were now gone. David was a fun person to talk to and he immediately put me at ease saying that it’ll only take him a few minutes to unlock the door. I’d been away over two weeks on a trip and I returned home to find the lock on my door rusted shut! I did what I believed was the most logical thing to do at such times – I picked up a heavy rock and started hammering away. My neighbor saw what I was doing and stopped me from destroying the lock.
