Extremely unprofessional and did not do the work as promised. We contracted with them for asbestos removal of a small area on the floor of our basement. Asbestos removal to us means ALL asbestos in the agreed-upon area. This contractor parsed words in his quote and invoice and only removed the tile -- not the mastic used to adhere the tile that also most likely contains asbestos...and had the audacity to call this a complete job and threaten to sue us. He offered to remove the mastic for an additional $450. A few minutes later he called back and apologized and agreed to remove the mastic, but the contractor showed up only to underhandedly collect our signed quote so he could use this in court against us, which he later confirmed in a text message. Complaint made to the Better Business Bureau tonight. Wanted to share here too. Our first bad experience with a contractor since we moved in to our Detroit neighborhood a little over a year ago.
