A week and a half later, I get a bill for $85. Lost my mind. Called again, got routed through several people who told me that I need to return their crap. Finally talked to a manager named Jose, who says he doesn't have the authority to fix this bill. What company does not allow their manager to fix problems, and makes customers go back into the long and irritating voicemail line to talk to another agent?!?! So I finally got to Cory in customer "service" -- who pretended that he could not hear me and told me he was hanging up. He did respond with pauses when I spoke, however. SO he hung up, and I called back, furious, to get a message that all their lines are now closed. Ah, I get it, closing time, so no time to do your one job. I called back monday morning, and I have to admit, I went a little ballistic on the billing agent. She told me that she looked down into the account record and saw that it had been closed, and the balance was $0, but the bill had gone out THE FIRST MONDAY I CALLED. But now it is all taken care of, according to the woman who provided me with her Employee ID number. Until the following Saturday, when I got a "reminder" that the account -- $85 -- was past due. ARE. YOU. FREAKING. KIDDING. ME?!?! So I called back and spoke with Alec, who refused to give me his ID number -- no surprise) who told me that this has to work its way through the billing cycle, whatever that means.
