Royz Builders - Mike Roy & Sons - is an outstanding building contractor in Mattoon, IL and surrounding areas! They are hard-working, and skilled craftsman in all aspects of home construction - who are HONEST and FAIR - located locally in Mattoon area! Had them build our Lake House on Lake Mattoon on a time and materials basis, without a formal contract or competitive bids. And our experience with them confirmed we didn't need such protections. We gave them our budget, and design, and told them we just wanted a nice, little vacation home on the lake without premium materials and premium prices! Which is exactly what they delivered, without any surprises or issues! Though, we were pretty involved acting as our own general contractor - which no doubt saved us money - we had the background to do that - not all may. But, Mike and Sons are flexible and honest enough to be able to do that! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
