There were no added charges though I’d called Master Lock Key Store at around 1 am on their helpline 248-329-1244 and asked them to help me regain access to my apartment. Most locksmiths in Clawson add a surcharge and charge double the fee if hired after regular business hours. So, when Jack handed me a bill of around $46, it came as a pleasant surprise. Hire them if you’re looking for affordability and quality at the same time.

I never really cared much for quality- and I soon realized how dearly it might cost me. I got a spare key made at a local hardware shop and handed it to the babysitter. A few days later, she called up saying that the keys I’d handed out to her had snapped in the lock and she couldn’t get into the home. My son was alone at home and without further ado, I rushed home. She had tried getting the broken pieces out herself but had only managed to push them in further.
