Fat City Customs, established in 1992 by Johnny Moore, who has spent his entire life painting, fabricating, and riding motorcycles. Located in Middletown, Connecticut, Fat City began as a small paint shop, producing one custom bike a year in a cramped 800 square foot space. Fat City Customs has continued to grow in leaps and bounds ever since. In 2003 Airpower Art Studio, also known as theairbrushguys, moved their custom airbrushing shop to a new location inside Fat City’s 3500 square foot facility. Joined by on staff Conceptual Artist Jennifer, the team at Fat City Customs added impressive visual design capabilities to their qualifications. Today, Fat City Customs completes 6 ground-up builds a year, as well as providing custom fabrication, general makeovers, complete rebuilds, and killer custom painting. With a workforce of six full and part time employees, Fat City Customs has over 50 years of combined experience in all aspects of custom bike building. In 2004, Fat City received Federal Manufacturer of Custom Motorcycles licensing. Fat City Customs is currently working towards their ultimate goal of a product line of custom bikes and a dealer network throughout the US and overseas. They have established themselves with today’s top bike builders, including Eddie Trotta, Arlen Ness, Dave Perowitz, and more. The staff at Fat City takes pride in attention to detail and quality workmanship. They go beyond building a custom bike, ensuring the final product is not only stylish, but dependable as well. This standard of excellence combined with their passion for what they do has allowed then to satisfy even the most demanding of owners, adding members to Fat City’s growing family.
