Once you sign up for the Swipe 4 Free services, you won’t have to do anything difficult to get setup. We’ll deliver you the credit card swipe readers, which look and function just like the ones you already have. The one exception is that they will add a 4% service fee to each transaction. This is added on top of the base price so customers will be paying the fees. On their receipt they will see all the normal lines including the total purchase price and taxes. In addition to that, they will see a line for processing surcharge, which will be 4% of the purchase price. Your cashiers won’t need to learn anything new about how to take payments, other than to make sure they are aware of the change so they can explain it to customers if they should get any questions (which is actually quite rare). Some companies choose to put up a small sign to let their customers know of the policy so that they can choose to pay in cash if they prefer.
