We're an independent automotive repair center specializing in alignments and general repairs that has been serving the area for 50+ years. John' Ramsey's Alignment Service was founded by John Ramsey, who first started repairing cars at the age of 10 in his father's shop. Growing up in Ramsey's Automotive Service, his father's company, with the three best teachers in the country, his father Bubba and two brothers: Jack and Ray, John felt compelled to make sure he knew how to use the newest and best technology and techniques, which were rapdily developing across the globe. John took two years of Automotive Training in high school, installing his first complete front-end and setting up the alignment to specifications at the age of 13. As a senior in high school DCT class he worked part-time for and with his father, helping to put him ahead of other technicians at the time. After graduating school John got a job at a local shop, but he was still hungry to learn more and more about his trade, which lead him to enrolling in the BEAR Frame/Alignment and Balancing school in 1963. With his work ethic and practical experience John graduted with Honors in 1963 and was on his was to owning his own shop. He worked for a few years in different shops to hone his craft before opening his own shop in 1963, and that shop has remained ever since. John isn't affiliated with any other shops, and doesn't work for some large national brand. His shop is completely independent, and, even to this day, John will work on vehicles with the rest of his team. When you visit us, you're not getting someone fresh out of school who is just doing what his bosses told him, you're getting over 50 years of experience and dedication to the craft working for you.
