There was no way into my home, the only key I had, was now broken in the lock and the pieces were jammed inside. I forgot the combination to the safe, having changed it the previous day. I’d written it down somewhere but had misplaced the slip of paper. One, I did not have access to the business contracts, money and other documents locked in the safe.
