Unfortunately, I am NOT RECOMMENDING Rugknots. I also want to make it clear this was MY experience with them & may not be YOUR experience. I truly feel it's the right thing to give every business a fair & honest review, b/c it affects both their business & reputation - It's not fair or ethical to shoot off a undeserved review, simply b/c you’re upset with them. I really expected to LOVE my custom persian rugs from Rugknots. I had always wanted to own these rugs, but found them too expensive. I chose Rugknots based on their positive reviews, along with their rug descriptions & photos. I will keep the rest of my review asap, but still give whomever is reading it, enough info to make an informed decision. In Sept 2018 I bought (3) rugs online from Rugknots.com. Rugknots’ main business headquarters are located in Maryland. I later discovered all (3) of my rugs were stored & shipped from their partnered warehouse in New Jersey. This is relevant b/c NONE of my rugs were personally seen by ANY Rugknots’ employee I worked with. ALL the rugs shipped to me were in very poor condition - my Contractor was with me when I opened & laid out all the rugs, & we both saw firsthand how damaged they were, & were NOT as described or shown. I returned the rugs, & Rugknots’ “partners” falsely accused me of damaging the rugs, & claimed they were in “excellent condition” when shipped out. Rugknots supported/backed their “partners” & only gave me a partial refund. I am now out $4K & have called BBB.
