VWAS provides free and confidential services to all crime victims. We offer assistance through the criminal justice system, provide support inside and outside of the court room, track court case information and keep victims/witnesses informed about criminal cases, assist with Orders of Protections (Restraining Orders), jail release notifications, educate and advocate for victim rights, provide moral and emotional support, contact prosecutors on behalf of victims to ensure needs and concerns are being addressed, and provide information and referrals to other agencies as needed.
