DO NOT RENT HERE! This was the worst experience I've ever had with customer service! If I could give zero stars, I would. Where do I even start? First of all, communication is at its absolute worst at this place. The woman at the front desk tells you someone will call you back and then no one ever does. I don't know if she isn't passing along the messages or if the managers just don't care. The receptionist also has zero personality and acts like she could care less when you have a problem. The only person that does their job well here is the maintenance guy who actually seems to care - if management passes along the requests that is. When my husband and I bought our house in October, we needed some forms signed from the leasing office. They refused to sign which meant that we wouldn't be able to buy the house. After 20+ unanswered calls to the leasing office, our lender had to drive there and stand there until they signed. Now that we are in our house and it's been a little less than a month since we moved out of the apartment, we got our security deposit back - or so I thought. I opened the letter and it was HALF our security deposit!! We spent days making sure the apartment was spotless! They claimed they spent $800 to have the carpet in ONE BEDROOM replaced because of pet odor! I know for a fact it doesn't cost $800 to have carpet replaced in one small bedroom. Also, when we moved from a one bedroom to a two bedroom in this same complex, no one ever complained of pet odor and we received our full deposit. I guess now that we aren't tenants, management will do whatever they want with our money. When we first moved into our apartment, there were countless things wrong. The shelving in the spare bedroom was completely collapsed, the tile in the hall bathroom was moldy and coming up, the walls had scuff marks all over them, the sink didn't work, we didn't have blinds or screens for weeks and we even found a blunt in our master closet! Seems to me like we should be receiving our full security deposit back along with an apology. Management here is terrible to say the least! Worst customer service and no communication skills whatsoever! If you're looking to throw your money away, move here. Needless to say, I'm very happy we have moved on.
