Dr. Chris Palmer and Low Vision Restoration, LLC is based in Minneapolis and serves patients from all over the Upper Midwest. We are committed to the possibility that those with conditions such as Macular Degeneration, Diabetes, Cataracts, Albinism, Stargardt's Disease, Retina Pigmentosa, and other vision-limiting diseases know that there is life after vision loss. We provide goal-specific device evaluations using the most optically advanced, hands-free devices available in order to deliver on the quality of life, independence, and peace of mind for patients and their families. This is done with compassion, integrity, education and innovation. During the low vision evaluation, we prescribe surgical loupe quality devices, including bioptic telescopes and prismatics, to help people improve their abilities to drive, read their mail, play cards, recognize faces and watch TV.
