Chiropractic care is helpful in conditions such as low back pain, neck pain, upper back pain, and headaches. When spinal bones are misaligned, they put pressure on delicate nerves and cause an interruption between the body and the brain. When the lower back is misaligned, it can cause low back pain in addition to sciatica, and leg pain. A misaligned back can also cause disc degeneration in the lower back. Disc degeneration may or may not present with symptoms until the disc gets thin enough to put pressure on the nerve root. It is easier to treat disc degeneration in its earlier stages rather than later when there is less disc material left.
