Dr. Lois Wilson established Wilson Dental of McLean with the priority to deliver quality care to informed patients in a comfortable and convenient setting. Dr. Wilson is passionate about providing the highest quality comprehensive dentistry in a caring and compassionate manner. Dr. Wilson attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville for her undergraduate studies in Biomedical Engineering and completed dental school at the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery at the University of Maryland in 1985. After graduation, Dr. Wilson joined the Army, where she was trained in all phases of traditional dentistry. Dr. Wilson continues her education in implants through the Triangle Dental Institute, the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education, and her affiliations with the Academy of General Dentistry and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Wilson enjoys the challenge of a lifetime of learning making the practice of dentistry even more exciting and rewarding for her than it has already been. After many military moves both stateside and overseas, Dr. Wilson made Northern Virginia home. She has three children, and is delighted that Maurice, Leigh and Lisa are an integral part of the practice. Committed to community service both here locally and internationally, Dr. Wilson, has been an active member and Past President of the Rotary Club of McLean. Since 2009 she has participated in a Rotary sponsored project to provide dental care to children with special needs in southern Africa. Dr. Wilson has practiced dentistry in McLean and has been an active member of the community since 2002. Dr. Wilson brings over 25 years of knowledgeable experience to you at Wilson Dental of McLean.
