James J. Cicarella, 36, was sentenced Tuesday by New Haven Superior Court Judge Patrick Clifford, according to online court records. Cicarella was sentenced after entering a no contest plea to first-degree larceny charges stemming his August 2016 arrest by Madison police. Cicarella led an elderly Wallingford woman to believe she was giving him money to cover medical insurance and health care, police said in an affidavit
