Loic and Emily opened red brick french cuisine in Villa Rica in October 2001,still reeling -- with the rest of the country -- from the shock and devastation of 9/11, but excited to see what the future would bring. Having spent our adult lives in large cities (Emily in New York; Loic in Bordeaux, Toulouse, Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Atlanta), we knew that the magic of city living is found in the neighborhoods, the street life, the people... and we believed that same electricity could happen in a small town. Once our doors opened, what we discovered was a whole world of foodies, wine lovers and generally interesting people tucked into the countryside and small towns of West Georgia.
