DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! If I could give zero stars, I would. I purchased my very first home in June 2019. The house was sold by Hewbrick Properties after they acquired it and made a few updates. There was work in the crawl space that still needed to be completed. The contractor hired by Hewbrick was sub-par at best and the open permit for the crawl space work was failed continuously. They adamantly refused to put money into escrow for repairs or lower the price on the house in lieu of the failed permit. They pressured me into closing in June with a signed "guarantee" stating that the work would be completed at the next permit inspection (it was failed again). All these months later, the issue has not only remained unresolved, but the company has gone radio silent and the contracting company he hired to complete the repairs has been dissolved! I was taken advantage of as a first time home buyer and I am absolutely disgusted with how this company conducts business. The courts will have the final say on this. Protect yourselves and your hard earned money and take your business elsewhere!
