First hired Alzono (ACW) to cut our lawn which is on a serious hill. Quoted us $35. We thought, great price, so hired him right away. Within a month the police were at front door because he got into an altercation with our neighbor who was just trying to show him the property line and he was skidding with his machine onto his lawn. Alonzo lost his mind and started screaming at our neighbor. This caused a serious problem with multiple police cars and dramatics. - We gave him the benefit of the doubt because he was a young guy just trying to get a job done. Second, we hired him to rebuilt our front stoop. Said he would come on a Monday, kept blowing us off for days and when he finally arrived, it was pouring rain and my husband had to give him our tent because he didn’t want to stop. With fear the job would not be done right, we had to stay close. He said the job would be a half day job. Two days it ended up taking. We thought, good price - so fine. During the job in which he smoked and left all his cigarette butts all over my front lawn and flower beds, while cursing about his baby momma drama and future court appearances. Since the work was ok, we though fine- hire him again for just one more project. This same season, we had him to do a pool pad. Flatten and level our ground since we are on a hill I in order for us to put a pool on. Said he would do it one day and came a week later. Keep in mind his employees didn’t show up and he was pacing, screaming on the phone at them in my backyard to get them to the job. Gave a lot of personal reasons and overshared as to why he had to leave the job early too. Quotes us $944. The pad wasn’t level and charged us $1200 with out any warning of the increase. The job was incomplete and he claimed rain was the reason. He called my husband lazy for not putting a pool on sooner, when it was still freezing out. When we asked him to come back and fix it, he repeatedly insulted my husband and our property. We just wanted him to complete the job we paid for. You may wonder why did we keep hiring him, we thought that at least if the work was okay then we could deal with all his rudeness and dramatics. His business sense with the ever changing estimates, dates for work inconsistent, and PROFOUND UNPROFESSIONAL attitude is what did us in. To be insulted by someone you hire is unacceptable. To this day, I find cigarette butts all over the lawn my child plays in which, continues to be the cherry on top. If anything save yourself the aggravation and DO NOT Hire this man.
