Zimmer Metal Sales was founded in 2011 by David Zimmerman. Dave has owned and operated Zimmerman's Construction LLC for 15 years and has a wealth of knowledge and experience with his more than 30 years of experience in all things construction. When Dave started Zimmerman's Construction LLC in 1997 he successfully took on the framing of new homes as well as general contracting. In 2007 and 2008, with the harsh downturn in the United State's Economy, Dave branched out and began focusing more on post frame buildings with steel siding and roofing; as there was more of a demand for Agricultural buildings than new homes. These pursuits compelled the formation of Zimmer Metal Sales, LLC. Mr. Zimmerman wanted to provide a high quality American made Grade A Steel product at a quick turn-around as he knows the short range planning time Contractors live by. Dave hired on the shop manager, Bruce Slabaugh, to run the day-to-day needs of the operations of ZMS. We at Zimmer Metal Sales specialize in both Residential and Agricultural Steel Siding, Roofing, Trim, and Accessories. We roll form our own steel in the "Tuff Rib" profile which you see on many pole barns and houses today. Our most common seller is our 29 gauge steel with Valspar Siliconized Polyester paint and a 40-year warranty. We are also capable or handling R-Panel, Standing Seam, Liner Panel, and many other product lines. We receive many different requests for different profiles, gauges, and colors of steel on a regular bas
