I can’t say enough positive things about this company. I live in Virginia Beach and I met the owner of this company a while back when he worked for a delivery company. He was very pleasant & careful when he delivered my furniture I ordered from a design center. Knowing that my husband and I would be moving soon we asked him if he knew of anyone who could help us move and he so kindly told me that he could help me and to just call him whenever we were ready to move which was in a few months. Long story short I had forgotten all about him until a few days before my move. I had confirmed with a local company but was given an outrageous estimate and being it a complicated move to begin with I knew I would be spending over 7k for this move. I have dealt with hell from many moving companies but when I say the company I confirmed with called me back 3 times to adjust my rate claiming they didn’t properly estimate made me all the more nervous. I had already gave the company a deposit by check and was patiently awaiting moving day. Fast forward to moving day- the movers arrived late, smelled of cigarettes and beer. I won’t name the company because it’s unnecessary and I’m only writing this review to uplift the company that saved the day. The movers came in and were not wearing feet protectors. It had rained the day before and they dirtied my freshly cleaned carpet. When I mentioned if they would clean it one of the workers said no we don’t do that and they could lay down a walker for a small fee. Huh? Really? No! That should be included! Secondly, after inquiring with the driver about the small fee he told me he would let me know how much at the end. This really concerned me. I said ok. The movers were moving swiftly to get the stuff from the upper level downstairs when I heard a glass breaking upstairs. I went upstairs and my vase from my late grandmother was laying shattered in the floor. When I brought it to the attention of the driver his response was did you purchase insurance? If not we won’t cover the damages. I told him I would call the company and find out and he said to me “oh yes you will because we trying to get this over with”. Excuse me? That was the last straw for me. I called the company and canceled the move being nothing had been placed on the truck yet. I went through hell to get partial my deposit back. Frustrated and stressed I remembered the guy who came and delivered my furniture a few months ago. I quickly grabbed his number and called. My move was scheduled two days out and I was billed wayyyy below the amount I was billed from the other company. When they arrived they were early, while they were waiting for start time to begin they swept their truck out and shook out their pads. I lovedddd that! Nice clean truck and pads. When they finished I invited them in and offered them coffee. The energy from these guys was inexpressible. They were so nice. They made me feel so comfortable with them being there I can’t explain. They were very courteous and respectful. They even took away some items for us that we didn’t plan on taking time our new residence. Needless to say me and my husband tipped them BIGTIME! Some things are just priceless. This company is one of them. Thank you Gavva you guys are AMAZE!!!
