I hired this company to put in one new construction and 2 replacement windows with the understanding that 'Mike' would work and finish the new construction window and then move into the other room to replace the 2 BR windows. He was pleasant when meeting, gave a written estimate. However, after the deposit he decided to change how he did the work because he didn't have access to his tablesaw? He said it was buried in his garage? So, he displaced my visiting parents from their bedroom without calling me or discussing any changes. When asked why he didn't, he became argumentative and quite verbally nasty. His manners went right out the proverbial window- pun intended. He left the newly constructed window during cold weather open and blowing cold air through my house until he got access to his saw? When all was said and done, he didn't put on the 'j' channel around the new constructed window as in the written agreement and the trim on the inside of the replaced windows sticks out away from other trim. When I checked and asked him to remove the trim and cut it correctly, again he became argumentative stating he 'was the professional'. Well, I knew I just wanted him out of my house. I paid him the remainder because he appears to be the type of construction worker to put a lien on anyone's house for his shabby work. I did call him a couple of weeks later and he offered to come back and put on 'j' channel and I knew I couldn't trust him to do the work right and he might create more damage. I was shocked at his business acumen and his angry tirade. Please, do not hire this man. He appears charming, however, if you don't agree with whatever he wants once the job starts, you are in for an angry worker.
