I would rate this business zero stars if I could. By far, the strangest work environment I have ever been a part of. It's baffling and frustrating to pass the interview process and trial period of a position, be brought on full-time with full compensation just to be let go with no rhyme or reason other than a difference of a personal opinion. Imagine coming into work everyday constantly forced to prove yourself and your trustworthiness when you have not engaged in any distrusting activities. Imagine accepting a job with a promise of a required 20 hours in office work but because of a misappropriated lack of trust, that clause is now null and void. Imagine working for someone who feels threatened because you have a freelance page, when you did not contact any job listings and you did not sign a non-compete agreement barring you from such opportunities. Imagine working for someone who said you didn't smile enough and could easily replace you with someone who is happy to be there. Imagine being accused of not completing work in a timely fashion, asking your boss what work would you like me to focus on and them not being able to provide an answer. Imagine working for a small company without a Human Resources department about the clear disparity of treatment in comparison to myself and the other employees. All of these cumulating events lead to being fired for doing absolutely nothing wrong. Best of luck to this company and any new hire thinking about working at KBS CFO.
