We hired Puffer Exteriors for a remodel on our home that we paid $19,000 for. We were good customers and paid in full on time. We were disappointed that they didn't follow our direction on how we wanted the columns in the front built and just made them how they wanted. We were concerned with the daily 3 hour lunch breaks, including workers napping in our garage. We didn't like that when the foreman left the site for anything all wok would stop until he returned. But our ultimate straw that broke the camels back was after we paid in full it was discovered that there was an issue with the trim around our garage door that we needed to be corrected. We were having another company install a new garage door and it had to be done before that could be done. They told us they would be there on a Saturday morning, which we appreciated, but not ideal because we had longstanding plans that we had to change to be there for the work to be done. They told us on two occasions they would be there between 10 and 11 AM, but ended up no showing. When I complained the owner, Mark Puffer, got upset and said they would not come at all. If that is how a good, paying customer is valued by this company I wish I would have done business with someone else. I would not recommend this contractor to anyone.
