The management of this place is completely incompetent (dealing with insurance issues as well as billing) but also communicating clearly with the patients and addressing concerns. I have been seeing Kim for almost two years (WHO IS AMAZING), but sadly I do not feel financially secure or respected as a patient from management. An example of this is when Abby Koch (the owner), charged my credit card on file even after I had disputed a $100 cancellation charge that their management company confirmed I had canceled/rescheduled well before the 24-hour mark). The only solution provided was to give me a credit instead of a refund. In addition to this incident, their billing and insurance person harassed me about my insurance being inactive (when I had provided a screenshot of my account saying I was active, as well as a reference number to a phone call I had with my insurance representative that confirmed I was active). There was never any communication/apology/explanation to me when my claim went through. In addition to this, I received a receipt of billed dates from 7 months ago which were already paid (this was corrected). However, when I sent an email to Abby explaining my concerns about my financial security and feeling taken advantage of, I heard nothing from her and only received the corrected receipt from their billing department. I would expect an owner of a counseling company to take a patient questioning their own financial security as well as their business ethics very seriously and respond in a timely manner. I only received a response from Abby after I addressed her directly about my disappointment in her silence. Stay away from this company. They clearly have some internal issues to sort out and have priorities in things other than their patients with little respect for their concerns.
